Remember RUSH in Your Will or Trust

A bequest is an easy way to help ensure RUSH will continue offering excellent medical care, groundbreaking research, transformative education, and community outreach far into the future. Including RUSH in your will or trust enables you to leave a lasting legacy and have an impact on the health of our community and around the world.

Make a bequest to RUSH

"In the event the (purpose of the restriction) can no longer be served, my gift may be used for other appropriate purposes as reasonably determined by RUSH."

• Support an important cause.
• Designate a specific asset or a percentage of your estate.
• Create a lasting legacy for you and your family.

Here is sample bequest language you can share with your attorney:

“I give, devise, and bequeath to RUSH University Medical Center, an Illinois nonprofit corporation, having its principal offices in the City of Chicago, State of Illinois, (a specific amount or a percentage of the estate) to be used for its general purposes (you may insert an area of RUSH you wish to support).”

If a gift is restricted:

“In the event the (purpose of the restriction) can no longer be served, my gift may be used for other appropriate purposes as reasonably determined by RUSH.”
